A couple of days ago I finished my book Dockmakaren or The Concrete Blonde by Michael Connelly. I love Michael Connelly's books and I'm always on the lookout for new ones. I love reading about Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch and the crimes that he investigates.
In this book Harry is confronted with a crime and a killer that he had believed to have killed 4 years ago, "The Dollmaker" and now at the time of the trail for that killing, the police find another victim.
From Michael Connelly's website:
They called him the Dollmaker...
The serial killer who stalked Los Angeles and left a grisly calling card on the faces of his female victims. With a single faultless shot, Detective Harry Bosch thought he had ended the city's nightmare.
Now, the dead man's widow is suing Harry and the LAPD for killing the wrong man — an accusation that rings terrifyingly true when a new victim is discovered with the Dollmaker's macabre signature.
Now, for the second time, Harry must hunt down a death-dealer who is very much alive, before he strikes again. It's a blood-tracked quest that will take Harry from the hard edges of the L.A. night to the last place he ever wanted to go — the darkness of his own heart.
I loved the book just as much as I did the previous books. It's easy books to read and they relax me tremendously. I'm pretty sure that any one who likes crime novels would love these books. In this book you get so see a side of Harry that is a little more human, the side of him loving another...
Rating: KKKK /5 K.
