We had a long breakfast at Hotell Anna and then we decided to get going. However just when we started to get ready, Andy realized that a new cache, Not everything in Visby is Medival, had popped up in Visby and that we should try to get an FTF, First-to-Find.
So off we went to find it and after about 30 minutes of looking in the right place, we noticed that a bit of internet research was in order.
It was kind of a cool place, no?
I'm of the kind that thinks that graffiti can really be beautiful, in the right kind of setting, and this was exactly the right kind of setting. I don't like graffiti when it's painted on someones house or on an old building - that's just vandalism.
And I loved this little jem... Spray can's aren't the most beaurtiful think you've ever seen - but like this they were really quite cool.
Unfortunely we were unable to find the cache, so we decided to e-mail the owner of the cache and ask him if we were in the right spot. But we decided to go to the Car Boot Sale - in the mean time.
At the Sale, we first had a hot dog for lunch. And then we started rummaging through the booths. Anna found some old silver utensils and I found some books, Ed McBain, that I always look for at these sales. I found 22 of them, and bought them for 70 kr =) Happiness =) We also bought the boardgame Jeopardy, for 10 kr and also a bowl in white and red for Christmas.
Andy had gotten an answer from the owner of the cache, while we were at the boot sale, so after rummaging through the booths, we went back to the cache site and found the cache in the matter of minutes. We got our FTF together with Anna =) Her first and I believe it's our thrid =)
Then we went back home to Annas and said our good byes - because it's time for us to go on our merry way. It had been a great week, much longer than we anticipated, but we love hanging with Anna. Thanks for this week Anna!
We drove down to the center of town and did some shopping and then we started to drive south. We wanted to find a spot to have a swim, but unfortunetly we didn't find one that we liked and it was starting to get late so we decided to make our way to our night spot and set up for night.
We made night at a spot that we slept at twice last year. It's a good spot without being anything special.
Once there we played 2 games of Jeopardy, Andy won once and I won once =) It was really fun eventhough boardgames usually aren't as enjoyable if you are only two players. A real bargain for 10 kr, usually in Sweden if you buy the game new it will cost you anywhere from 300-600 kr, depending on the game. So a real bargain =)
Then we were off to bed and watched some TV. It was still insanly hot and humid, but at least there was a slight breeze.
