We've had a great day in the Vermont, visiting lost of great little towns with nice shops and restuarants. But we made it back home for some traditional Midsummers food - herring and new potatoes. Woth sides of egg halves, sour cream, tomatoes and chives.

And for desert a lovely strawberry and vanilla filled cake, soaked in some Grand Marnier.
